Issue 11: When Life Delays Your Launch
Here’s something that took me a long time to learn.
Do you ever take on a new project — but not realize how huge it is — then get overwhelmed and feel like you’re drowning?
(Maybe that happened to you with digital products) 🙋🏻♀️
I set a goal to do a live workshop in April.
And April’s been crazy busy — trips, birthdays, parties, sports, kids home from college…
But I was committed, so I picked April 24th and got to work.
(You saw my last email about it.)
I’ve gotten SO much done behind the scenes.
But it’s not ready-ready.
And six days isn’t enough time to promote it properly — especially for the moms who really need it.
So I’m pushing it back to May sad face
Now I have a choice.
I can do one of 3 things.
I could freak out inside because I told y’all it was next week and feel overwhelmed and tell myself I’m a horrible entrepreneur.
Even though I’m in Minnesota visiting my grandma for her 99th birthday, I could work like crazy to get it all ready and “HUSTLE” and force it to come together just to prove I can “stick to the plan.”
I can admit that I underestimated the work, move the date, and go on with my life.
I picked #3. 😂
Because here’s the truth:
You can make progress and still feel behind.
It doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re learning.
That’s the AMAZING part about digital products and having your own business.
✔️ You call the shots.
✔️ You make the rules.
✔️ You do what’s best for your life — not your boss, not your customers, not strangers on social media.
YOU.
You get to learn, grow, experiment, and do it on your own timeline.
Progress > perfection.
And keeping your word to yourself is the most powerful habit in business.
That’s what builds confidence — not doing it all perfectly.
All of that to say…
I’m still doing the workshop.
It’s going to be SO GOOD.
There’ll be an early bird price so you can get in for almost nothing.
I’ll let you know the new date soon — probably the first week of May.
Just know: it’s gonna be 🔥 and 100% worth the wait.
You’ll get a plan to make your first (or next) $1k with digital products.
Send me a DM and let me know if this has happened to you lately — and which # you picked. I’d love to hear it.
Here’s your reminder not to take your life — or your business — too seriously.
Cheering for you,
Kari 🩷
